Michael Jackson's OPUS - tribute book

I bought the Opus on September/ October - just right after it went ton sells.
And today I just received it.

It's huge :)) And when I say huge, you can imagine a veeeery big book, it's a real wonderful tribute, smth of collection, smth I consider each MJ fan should have it.

It is the kind of book you'll never find in bookshops.

An wonderful tribute, as I said before. A tribute to a king, to THE KING Michael was and will always be for us and for the music!

Michael si mass-media (sau lupta mea cu morile de vant)

Dumnezeule, cat de mult imi va lipsi muzica si vocea asta atat de perfecta, omul asta atat de extraordinar!!! Pentru cei ce au stiut sa priveasca dincolo de "senzationalul" de doi bani al presei de scandal, pentru cei ce l-au inteles pe Michael exact asa cum era el (un suflet de copil intr-un corp de om mare, un suflet care a vrut binele celuilalt inaintea propriului sau bine, o minte deschisa, sincera, inocenta si lipsita de perversiunile inventate de presa numai de dragul banilor!!), zilele astea au insemnat o durere de nedescris, o pierdere imensa pentru ca o data cu Michael a murit efectiv parte din sufletul nostru! Noi, cei care l-am iubit si cand presa l-a hulit, noi suntem cei care l-am iubit dezinteresat, nu doar de dragul ratingului si al banilor incasati din publicitate. Noua, Michael ne va lipsi cu adevarat! :(



In cazul acesta, al piedrerii lui Michael, imi pare rau, dar nu accept zicala cu "mai bine mai tarziu decat niciodata" pentru simplul fapt ca au reinceput sa-l promoveze mult, mult prea tarziu, pentru ca ei sunt cei care i-au si ne-au furat cel putin inca 20 de ani de viata...

Sunt curioasa cat ii va tine aceast sentiment de vinovatie?! Cati dintre cei din media de zilele astea: MTV.ro, ProTV, AcasaTv, RealitateaTV, Antena1, CNN - cati dintre toate aceste posturi tv care au tot difuzat stiri legate de moartea lui Michael isi vor mai aduce aminte de el la anul, peste 5 ani, peste 15 ani ... Pentru ca nu i-am mai auzit de ani buni sa isi mai aminteasca ceva de Freddie Mercury, de Elvis Presley. Si de ce? Doar pentru ca un documentar cu ei nu le mai aduce atat de multi bani precum le aduc stirile de scandal???

Genul asta "mai nou" de stiri si televiziuni mie, una, imi lasa un profund gust amar ... >:(

"Heal the world" ... Ce vis frumos, ai avut, Mike, si cat de rea e lumea in care traim! :(



Se spune ca pretul unei persoane il afli cu adevarat numai dupa ce o pierzi! Si este atat de jalnic, pentru ca toata presa asta de scandal l-a ranit fara remuscare, fara sa incerce sa judece corect! Intr-o astfel de lume, nu numai Michel a fost un neadaptat; si eu am momente sute in care ma simt la fel, ma razboiesc cu morile de vant, si sunt convinsa ca la fel sunt si alte sute de persoane, persoane crescute cu frica de Dumnezeu, crescute de parinti cu cei 7 ani de acasa, persoane care prefera linistea sufleteasca mustrarii de constiinta! Pentru ca viata asta este atat de usoara si atat de frumoasa vazuta prin ochii unui copil si atat de grea si de dificila numai datorita modului in care oamenii mari si-o complica singuri!

Tragedia mare vine insa mai mult din partea postruilor de muzica (tv si radio), a caselor de discuri (Sony Muzic in acest caz), care nu au stiut sa-si promoveze geniul atata vreme cat l-au avut, culmea ironiei, langa ei!! S-au dezis de el la primul cantec de ”cocos”, precum s-a dezis Sf. Petru de Iisus! Cata fatarnicie, Dumnezeule!

Eu le multumesc numai pentru faptul ca macar MTV-ul RO ne-a oferit zilele astea posibilitaea de a-l plange impreuna, noi, toti cei l-am iubit pe Michel si i-am urmarit cu ardoare muzica/ munca de an cu an, prin proiectiile concertului din '92, prin zilele astea dedicate lui, Regelui muzicii!

As vrea sa vad daca si peste 5 ani vor face la fel sau atunci nu "v-a mai vinde"???

Michael Jackson: for most of you, a controversial person. For me, simply a Genius, above all of us and thus, non-understandable, as all genius people are. Michael came on this world to allay our pain, to enjoy our souls, to bring the smile on our faces after a hard and of a hell working day. 

Michael is a Genius of our times - as Motzard or Elvis were for theirs. Even we, the common people, have our own madness or crazyness - so lets first to see the forest from our own yards before to point on the tree of the others, shall we??

Michael is for the pop-music a God: the sounds, the videos, the shows, the dance would have never been as they are now without Michael. Therefore, for all Michael did and will do for the music, we only have to say to him: THANK YOU, MICHAEL! :-*

One of Michael's magnificant videos is "Dirty Diana". And Michael looks like an angel!!! It was he's best period in the side of good-looking from my point of view. There were the years when every woman was dreaming to have the chance to be near Michael, to touch him, to hold him, to kiss him, to love him. There were the years when the pretty-"bad" boy was turning us on :)) (and I was only a kid on those years :)).

Then, came the time of "Dangerous" album and tour, with Michael's live concert on Lia Manoliu stadium in Bucharest 1992. It was the time of another piece of work - Remember the time video:

If there is one thing to regret in my life of not doing it, it is the fact that I missed his concert. Due to my parents, who considered I was too young (17 years old) to go by myself from Craiova to Bucharest and "alone" to the concert on the stadium. I still disagree, I still don't think smth wrong could have occured to me there :P

Now, I will share with you, a part of my "sweet-crazyness" (as I like to call it:)

This sweater is the result of the handy-work of my mum. I only copied Michael Jackson's face upon a poster on a mathematics page and put "X" on the outline. The hard-work was of my mum, who did with lot of patience the sweater only to fulfill me a dream: of having smth that no other one has with Michael. And it was. In 1991, in Craiova, Roumania, it was smth unique :)) My whole school knew me as a MJ fan :)) I was in the 10th class (2nd class in high-school upon Roumanian teaching program) that time and I was wearing this sweater all coldly days :). And as you see, I still keep it in perfect condition :))

I am just waiting for Michael's shows in London and I still hope one show will be "reserved" also for Bucharest :D. I am simplly waiting for Mike to release a new album and I do hope that all his funs we will stay together and BUY (not download via internet !!) his music; that we will stay all together and support Mike, for Mike to compose new music for us and bring joy in our lives with each new concert he will do, with each new song which will stay 10 weeks consequentively on the 1st place in all charts, as all this songs did!!

I am longing for the years when MTV, M6 and all other channels were full of Michael's music, when on weekends I could see full weekends dedicated to Michael!!! Because listening Michael's music, I feel that I'm alive !!

Therefore, I do THANK YOU, MICHAEL !, for living in my time and offering me in this way the chance to know your music!
